Sharan was elected as the Councillor for Wyboston following the 2024 by-election.

Being a resident of Wilden for over 12 years she has comprehensive understanding of the challenges and issues at the heart of rural life. Alongside being a qualified Finance and Operations Director for a Bedford-based business with a background in Law and Finance, she will use her experiences and expertise to challenge the Council to continue to deliver quality services in a cost effective way.

Outside work Sharan is treasurer to two Bedfordshire charities and an administrator for a local junior sports club. With a record in both the private and charitable sectors, she looks forward to bringing her experiences and energy to represent Wyboston ward at Borough Hall.
