Marc was elected as Councillor of the Wixams and Wilstead Ward alongside his running mates Graeme and Andrea in the 2023 Borough elections.

Marc has been championing the need for crucial infrastructure to be built to meet the needs of the wards quickly rising population. He is working with his fellow Councillors to get the right schools in the right places with the right management. He is also fighting relentlessly to get the GP provision his residents deserve and need.

Marc has been a magistrate for over 20 years, a charity trustee and a parish councillor. He currently sits on the Bedfordshire Police and Crime Panel, Bedfordshire Police and Crime Panel Complaints Sub-Committee, Budget and Corporate Services Overview and Scrutiny Committee, Environment and Sustainable Communities Overview and Scrutiny Committee, Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee, Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee, Wixams Joint Development Control Committee.
