Cllr Alison Foster has written to Harrold residents notifying them that a planning application has been submitted for a nearby solar farm.

Town Farm Solar Farm Ltd has proposed the solar farm for the Dungee Road which forms the boundary between Harrold and Odell Parishes. This site will consist of 19,000 solar panels on a 12.5 hectare field.

Cllr Foster feels it is important for residents to take the opportunity to register their support or opposition to the development.  Comments can be submitted by accessing www.bedford.gov.uk/searchplans.  The planning application reference is 15/00444/MAF.

Comments can also be made in writing to: The Planning Department, Bedford Borough Council, Borough Hall, Cauldwell Street, Bedford MK42 9AP, quoting the reference number: 15/00444/MAF.

The deadline for comments is the 14th April.
